Nancy is responsible for developing communications, public relations and branding strategies for the firm’s diverse list of clientele. As a seasoned and creative thinker, she assists in building strategic PR campaigns that deliver tangible results with a variety of communication tools from classic editorial to social media with a dedication to maintaining message excellence and consistency.
Nancy attended the University of Arizona and completed her studies at the University of Hawaii with a major in Marketing
Before joining SPR…
Nancy was formerly the Director of Public Relations for Atlanta-based Jova/Daniels/Busby Architects for six years where she was successful in formulating winning public relations campaigns and securing extensive publicity for the firms’ top clients including the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Skanska, Emory University, North Carolina State University and Southern Progress Corporation as well as strategically positioning the firm and its executives in the architecture, engineering and construction arena. During her tenure with the firm, Nancy was successful in securing more publicity for the firm than the firm received since its inception in 1966.
She also served as Public Relations Director for Burroughs & Chapin Company, one of South Carolina’s largest private landowners and a leading source of commercial development in the South, as well Waccamaw Corporation, a 50-store home décor retail chain. As a freelance writer/ghost writer for numerous publications and individuals throughout her career, Nancy’s work has been published in countless local, regional and national publications.
When Nancy is not in the office she can be found… Volunteering her time with various civic organizations including the Brain Tumor Foundation, Roswell Senior Center and Called to Serve – a program that focuses on encouraging the youth of today to give back to the community. She also volunteers extensively for the high school where her two younger children attend. Amidst her busy career, Nancy and her husband, Paul, are busy raising their three “always on-the-go” teenage children, traveling and spending time with friends.
